For a trade association of manufacturers of mobile source pollution control devices, AJW developed and implemented a legislative strategy to which led to the reauthorization of the Diesel Emissions Reduction Act in the lame duck session of the 111th Congress.

For an advanced biofuel client, AJW worked with congressional leadership and administration officials to craft a biofuels policy that provided important, new incentives for second-generation biofuels.

For a waste-to-energy association, AJW successfully lobbied to have waste-to-energy recognized as a renewable, lower-climate energy source in renewable electricity tax laws, as well as major proposals on cap-and-trade legislation and renewable energy standards.

For a company that has pioneered hybrid tugboat technology, AJW is working with EPA on adaptations to the agency's emission reduction verifiction process, allowing this exciting new technology to be deployed and its emission benefits quantified.

For an energy services company, AJW helped to secure the extension of a program to execute energy savings measures at federal facilities. In addition, AJW secured enactment of legislation that removed barriers preventing the Defense Department and other agencies from efficiently and effectively securing energy savings from private companies.

For a broad coalition of manufacturers, contractors, energy efficiency advocates, labor unions, and environmental groups, AJW conducted outreach in support of legislation that would create incentives for residential energy efficiency retrofits.

For an investment capital group, AJW has assessed the impact of pending and proposed federal legislative and regulatory actions on market demand for various energy and environmental technologies.

For a federal agency, AJW assisted in the public communication and outreach for carbon sequestration technologies including terrestrial and geologic sequestration.

Jointly with a trade association of more than 1,000 advanced technology companies, AJW developed a report for policy makers quantifying the environmental benefits of the advanced technologies as compared to conventional technologies they could replace.

For energy producing clients, AJW helping to secure more than $280 million in federal financial assistance for construction of commercial-scale facilities.
